Ibis Styles Lyon Centre - Gare Part Dieu

Very convenient for Lyon Part Dieu. Quiet room overlooked station. Very easy to get around city from hotel, via tram and metro. Welcoming and helpful staff (who spoke good English). Comfortable and spacious room, and good buffet breakfast. No problem leaving luggage at the hotel for the day before we took an evening train to our next destination.

Although they accepted our request and never found it in their system, they managed to find a solution by giving us a bigger room to avoid any issue. Breakfast was the best I have experienced in comparison to any other travel I have been to. Organization of the hotel was top of the line. And the personnel was really helpful and polite. I would totally recommend it!

Transportation was very easy. When you leave the train station, you turn right and VOILA! :) The staff was very helpful. Henri is Turkish :) This was a great suprise for us, he helped us very much! Even if they don't have slippers and bathrobes in the room, they delivered them in minutes on our demand. The family room was really big and clean. The baby bed in the room and the baby chair in the breakfast hall was also clean as if they were brand new. Breakfast is wide variety and delicious. The 24hr-open coffe corner, with the croissants and pain au chocolates was wonderful. Since the hotel is really closed to the train station the area seemed not very safe, but the preacutions were taken by the hotel management, you have to ring the bell to enter the building.

The staff very helpful, friendly, beds are great, pretty good breakfast with fresh made croissants, well seasoned potatoes, great waffles and coffee, the room was extremely quiet and you can not beat they are located super close to the train statation, just cross the street and the train will take yuo directly to Lyon airport :) oh and the restaurant food for dinner was delicious, kudos for the amazing bacon and sparragus risotto! cold water, tea, coffee and microwave available at the entrance :) and the smell when you first entrance to the builiding, love it!

Very well located opposite the train station. I was very impressed with the breakfast, there was a lot of continental options as well as scrambled egg, potato’s and mushrooms. The bed was very comfortable and had Netflix on tv. Which come in handy as one of the days here we stayed in the room due to severe bad weather. Free water and coffee refills at reception as well.
